This was the last 'long' show of the Troobs' 2013 performances, sandwiched between two hour long sets at the ACL Music Festival. The Kessler was packed with family, friends and diehard fans and the band delivered one of its best performances. It was an honor and a privilege to be there.

I want to thank the True Believers family - Joe Nick Patoski, Mike Stewart, Mike Thompson, JoRae Di Menno and Theresa DiMenno for their love and support for the best band to ever come out of Austin, Texas. Alejandro Escovedo, Javier Escovedo, Jon Dee Graham, Denny DeGorio, Rey Washam - you guys are the greatest.

Subject: Greatest Rock & Roll band on earth
Question- With a title like that, how could this review be anything but glowing?
Answer- It can't!

This is the show I waited over 25 years to see. The greatest band to ever call Texas home, playing in Dallas, at one of the great live music venues anywhere. The build up in my own mind was matched and bested by these boys from the opening chords.

This recording is a gem in any collection and is the best gift a live rock and roll fan could ever want. It is a must hear and it must be heard loud.
